Assistant Professor of Dr. Adrianne Honnold recently received the 2024 Thomas Liley Memorial Saxophone Research Grant from the .��
The grant was named after an internationally acclaimed performer, educator, and researcher Dr. Thomas Liley. The longtime instructor was a charter member.�
Honnold will be utilizing the grant to partially fund travel expenses needed for research on a new book project, �Revolutionary Sounds: Black Women Saxophonists in the Early Twentieth Century.��
