Adrianne Honnold Receives North American Saxophone Alliance Grant

Assistant Professor of Dr. Adrianne Honnold recently received the 2024 Thomas Liley Memorial Saxophone Research Grant from the  

 

The grant was named after an internationally acclaimed performer, educator, and researcher Dr. Thomas Liley. The longtime instructor was a charter member. 

 

Honnold will be utilizing the grant to partially fund travel expenses needed for research on a new book project, Revolutionary Sounds: Black Women Saxophonists in the Early Twentieth Century.
